About the role

  • Own product strategy from ideation through delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement, with clear articulation of business value and user outcomes.
  • Translate business needs into a clear product vision, roadmap, and backlog, balancing near-term priorities with long-term strategic direction.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs), success measures, and return on investment, using data to track and communicate progress.
  • Prioritize backlog items based on business value, customer impact, risk, and dependencies, enabling effective sequencing of development work.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Oilseeds processing operations teams leading the development and improvement of the Smart Manufacturing portfolio/pipeline.
  • Build technology solutions and partner collaboratively with cross-functional teams in data, technology, digital, analytics and AI to meet operations requirements ensuring solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with company standards.
  • Establish clear deliverables for projects and develop project charters, protocols and reports to effectively plan, execute and document the related work – using project management skills and tools.
  • Drive business readiness and adoption, working closely with change management and operational teams to ensure successful implementation and sustained value.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early, proactively recommending mitigation strategies and trade-off decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership in product management practices, market trends, and emerging technologies relevant to the product domain.
  • Support continuous improvement of product ways of working, including agile practices, customer feedback loops, and outcome-based delivery.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in product management, product ownership, digital delivery, or related roles
  • Working knowledge of agile values, frameworks, and metrics
  • Experience translating business requirements into prioritized product backlogs and deliverables
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Ability to travel 10-20%
