About the role
- Ensures accuracy, security and effective use of core data in Asia Pacific operations
- Supports the development and implementation of global data governance processes
- Handles data quality in region and ensures compliance with regulations
- Helps design data architecture and cultivates data literacy
- Partners with technology business teams to support better decision making
- Implements and supports development of data management strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Reviews and documents data standards to ensure consistency and quality
- Implements operational improvements to reduce data quality defects
- Develops and implements data governance, risk and compliance processes
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
- 3 years or more of relevant experience typically reflects
- Professional experience in a global business that manufactures and ships specialty products globally
- 2+ years of experience managing data in ERPs (SAP) and CRMs (Salesforce)
- 2+ years of experience driving measurable & systematic data quality improvements
- 2+ years of experience working in a global team and company
