About the role
- Provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating facilities
- Oversee and hold facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance
- Oversee all operations from multiple departments, processes or shifts
- Partner with environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory experts to implement and monitor corporate safety policies
- Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality
- Collaborate with centers of excellence including engineering and plant management
- Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators
- Develop and oversee operational plans and monitors routine operations
- Lead and develop a team, make decisions related to talent management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Two years of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Experience with budgeting and operational planning (preferred)
- Lean six sigma (preferred)
- Food manufacturing experience with a focus in Case Ready (preferred)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
