About the role

  • Provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating facilities
  • Oversee and hold facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance
  • Oversee all operations from multiple departments, processes or shifts
  • Partner with environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory experts to implement and monitor corporate safety policies
  • Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality
  • Collaborate with centers of excellence including engineering and plant management
  • Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators
  • Develop and oversee operational plans and monitors routine operations
  • Lead and develop a team, make decisions related to talent management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Two years of supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Experience with budgeting and operational planning (preferred)
  • Lean six sigma (preferred)
  • Food manufacturing experience with a focus in Case Ready (preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
