About the role
- Provide specialized knowledge of quality systems or plant processes such as food safety and quality auditing
- Prepare and participate in customer audits
- Work with internal and external teams to address customer requirements and concerns
- Collaborate on audits
- Audit production processes, raw materials or suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects or quality failures
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
- Manage specific segments of quality management systems and support continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in prioritizing work and meeting deadlines
- Flexibility: able to cope with fast changes within a growing company
- Minimum of two years of related work experience
- Experience in conducting food safety audits
- OVS or Broiler management
- 3rd Party auditor with experience in animal welfare or primary animal processing
