About the role
- Responsible for performing checking tasks in the receiving, dispatch and inventory areas for raw materials, finished products and indirect materials
- Responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality of incoming loads
- Support production to prevent stoppages due to lack of raw materials and to avoid process losses
- Responsible for keeping the workplace clean and organized
- Ensure verification of unloaded materials, evaluating product, batch, quantity and storage location
- Check and carry out truck loading, verifying goods, quantities, batches, dimensions and load distribution in the vehicle
- Execute any special requests described on the cargo manifest
- Assist operations in locating materials and batches in use
- Responsible for providing training to Operations Assistants
- Assist in the overall evaluation of the sector’s activity development
- Perform counts of finished products, raw materials and indirect materials, ensuring inventory accuracy
- Follow occupational safety, food safety and environmental rules as described in internal procedures, onboarding instructions and periodic trainings of the integrated management system
Requirements
- Primary/basic education
- Minimum 6 months’ experience
- Basic knowledge of SAP is desirable
