About the role

  • Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service.
  • Develop existing accounts & seek new business.
  • Analyze opportunities and identify key personnel.
  • Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position.
  • Develop a territory management plan.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, & forecasts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations & sales presentations.
  • Prepare quotations & customer correspondence.
  • Utilize online resources for maintaining accurate records.
  • Discuss sales activities with Sales Manager.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
