About the role
- Sell select products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts
- Assist other sales positions with territory management and communication
- Participate in corporate and local campaigns
- Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and over the telephone
- Generate leads and track follow-up of inquiries
- Participate in training activities locally and occasionally at corporate headquarters
- Collaborate with various departments within the branch
Requirements
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or related field is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and self-motivation
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours for sales activities
