Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Lab Operations, and Compliance teams to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
Translate business processes into system workflows, data flows, and technical specifications particularly for lab systems, data pipelines, and integrations.
Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation for new features and system enhancements.
Support data integration projects involving LIMS, EHRs, and external labs ensuring consistency and compliance with industry standards.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and documentation required for CLIA, HIPAA, and FDA-regulated systems.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Work with data engineers and analysts to support reporting, dashboards, and data validation using SQL and business intelligence tools.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems / Information Technology or similar degree.
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 1–2 years in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.
Strong understanding of healthcare data and standards (LIS, LIMS, HL7, EHR systems).
Ability to write detailed functional specifications and data requirements.
Proficient in SQL and comfortable working with structured data for validation and analysis.
Knowledge of HIPAA, CLIA, and FDA guidelines for software systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially in cross-functional technical environments.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
