About the role

  • Own the Vision and the Product Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision and strategy for professional photography workflows, aligning with Capture One’s overarching mission to create the most efficient photography workflows in the world.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead the charge in developing innovative solutions together with our customers and partners. Introduce forward-thinking features that transform how photographers, digitechs and retouchers work together, improving efficiency, reliability, and creative potential.
  • Be the advocate for our customers: Be the voice of professional photographers, studios, Digitechs, retouchers. Gather deep insights through customer research, data analysis, and market trends to ensure solutions meet real-world needs.
  • Collaborate with other teams: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, strategic partnerships and other teams to deliver solutions that are technically feasible, visually stunning, and user-friendly. You will mature and prioritize ideas and turn them into clear concepts and user stories that are aligned with the company’s vision, strategy and objectives
  • Lead the Backlog: Prioritize features and user stories, ensuring a steady flow of impactful, demoable increments. Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable development tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with third-party partners to facilitate seamless integrations.
  • Measure Impact: Define success metrics for features and initiatives, continuously monitor performance, and iterate based on data and user feedback.

Requirements

  • 7+ years as a Product Manager / Program Manager building and shipping scalable commercial products
  • A track record of managing all aspects of a successful product lifecycle with solid knowledge of product management best practices
  • Experience owning a product area with measurable commercial impact
  • Experience with platform or integration-heavy products
  • Willingness to travel internationally a few times per year: our teams are split between Copenhagen, Athens, London and New York City and this role requires meeting customers in our main markets.
  • Preferably, you have a passion for photography and an understanding of studio photography workflows, including collaboration and retouching.
  • Solid analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making.
  • Experience working on applications that involve desktop software and cloud services
  • Natural leadership and/or stakeholder management skills - you lead by example and motivate and enable others to do their best
  • Exceptional teamwork and commitment to foster a positive and diverse team culture
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
