About the role

  • Plans, prioritizes, trains, supervises and reviews the work of staff responsible for performing maintenance services inclusive of the full range of custodial duties related to the exterior care, maintenance, and cleaning of buildings and facilities as well as waterpark maintenance
  • Supervises and performs maintenance and repair work on swimming pool facilities and related mechanical equipment, including electrical, pump and filtration, and plumbing systems
  • Maintains an organized work area
  • Completes monthly inventories and sets par levels with Resort Managers approval
  • Inspects work for completeness and provides direction and assignments to employees
  • Determines material, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete tasks

Requirements

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in facilities/property management
  • Experience in a manager-level resort maintenance role
  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in building and facilities maintenance
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification
  • HVAC certification
  • OSHA certification
  • Hazardous material handling training within six (6) months of hire date
  • One (1) year experience in the care, maintenance, and repair of large, commercial, or public swimming pools
