About the role

  • Overseeing operations for markets including Georgia and Tennessee
  • Driving & increasing tour flow by assisting with all external marketing activities at designated locations
  • Assisting in advancing partnerships in professional sports
  • Supervising FPS Area and Event Managers and marketing support team members
  • Developing, training, and recruiting staff
  • Developing and implementing strategic marketing plans and sales plans
  • Achieving satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share
  • Ensuring effective control of marketing results
  • Maintaining relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Guiding preparation of marketing activity reports
  • Coordinating the liaisons between Marketing and other sales-related units

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the hospitality industry
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
  • Flexibility to travel extensively within the region
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and ability to learn custom marketing software
  • Operate office machinery (i.e., computer, copy machine, fax machine)
  • Proficient in the ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Ability to read and understand annual budgets
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
