About the role

  • Serve as an analytics partner to Client Services teams, understanding their reporting needs and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
  • Proactively manage and foster stakeholder relationships by acting as a strategic, consultative advisor with a keen understanding of client objectives.
  • Translate client requests into clear analytical requirements and deliver actionable reporting that supports client conversations and decision-making.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making across Client Services and leadership.
  • Coach and develop team members, contributing to their professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Set priorities, manage workloads, and establish clear expectations to meet client-driven reporting needs.
  • Support the adoption of analytics best practices and tools through training sessions and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to the execution and enhancement of client-facing analytics deliverables aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate on the development of scalable processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Identify areas for improving efficiency through process improvements, automation, and better data practices.
  • Maintain documentation of key analytics processes and ensure data quality standards are upheld.
  • Conduct data analysis to generate insights that inform client strategy and support Client Services in their engagements.
  • Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations using visualizations and presentations.
  • Contribute to proactive analytics that support client outcomes and operational decision-making.
  • Ensure adherence to company compliance standards, including reporting any noncompliance.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality controls and departmental standards to satisfy organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to support continued learning and development.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Experience in PBM, health plans, healthcare, or pharmacy benefits.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy claims data and client reporting metrics.
  • Expertise in SQL with strong coding hygiene and documentation practices.
  • Proficiency in Tableau for developing and maintaining dashboards and visualizations.
  • Working knowledge of Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Experience with dbt and GitHub-based workflows.
  • Ability to perform complex analyses and synthesize findings into business insights.
  • Track record of partnering closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide consultative analytics support.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
