About the role
- Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One
- May manage and develop 1-2 analysts
- Develop and implement new product and pricing strategies for various lending products
- Lead product level modeling/analytics
- Lead direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products
- Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences
- Drive step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior
- Manage and sequence delivery of business intent, build business requirements and execute against the product strategy.
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including: IT, Sales, Operations, Finance and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
- Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in analysis preferred
- 2+ years of experience in financial services preferred
- 1+ year of experience in consulting preferred
- 2+ years of experience in people management preferred.
