About the role

  • Support a cross-functional group of 3 to 4 engineering teams to design, develop and integrate software features
  • Coach and nurture engineering managers on how to build, empower and operate teams to achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers on the overall product roadmap for a key business goal
  • Provide sound stewardship of the platform and capabilities created and owned by your teams
  • Be part of the engineering leadership team that evolves and enhances the capability, by defining and adopting best practices
  • Play a lead role in the development of your team's culture, their vision and how they achieve it
  • Work with associates across the business to identify, lead and drive change that impacts associates beyond your team

Requirements

  • Experience in leading and supporting multi-disciplined engineering teams to achieve business goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work together across engineering to maximise inner-sourcing opportunities and reduce waste
  • Passionate about recruiting and developing great engineering talent
