About the role
- Perform risk assessments of business activities and perform relevant testing
- Assist in communicating issues, risks and recommendations to management
- Operate independently, ensure work is completed to schedule
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business partners
- Leverage available data and analytical tools during audit phases
- Proactively follow-up on agreed audit actions and seek out learning opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in auditing
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting
- At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis
- At least 2 years of experience in risk management
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience in banking or the financial services industry (preferred)
- 2+ years of experience performing data analysis in support of internal auditing (preferred)
