About the role

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for all loan-related general ledger accounts
  • Complete transactions and manage request queues to meet departmental SLAs
  • Review and validate loan system-to-GL interfaces for accuracy
  • Track loan-related invoices for proper treatment and corrections
  • Support month‑end and quarter‑end closing activities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on loan system functionality
  • Collaborate with Loan Operations to ensure accounting alignment
  • Review and validate complex loan structures for accurate accounting treatment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in loan accounting, loan operations, or bank financial reporting
  • Previous hands-on experience with core banking system configurations related to loan accounting; Fiserv Premier strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of GAAP related to loan accounting
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and meet tight deadlines
