About the role

  • Own and optimise the entire content operations model, ensuring a consistent, efficient workflow from briefing to delivery and local activation.
  • Establish and maintain robust processes, governance frameworks, tools, and operating rhythms that enable scalable, high-quality content production.
  • Act as the ultimate owner of content excellence across all touch points, safeguarding quality, clarity, consistency, and on brand execution.
  • Lead a 13 person embedded content team delivering strategic marketing services—including value proposition development, persona development, content strategy, project management, and content creation.
  • Partner closely with PR, Social, Web Publishing, Localisation, Paid Media, and Central/National Sales Organisations Marketing teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient end-to-end content life-cycle.
  • Use data, insights, and feedback loops to improve operational efficiency and content effectiveness. Define and track KPIs relating to quality, performance, workflow efficiency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in content operations, integrated marketing communications, or content production at scale. Strong background managing agency or insourced team models with complex workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and optimise content governance, process frameworks, and operating models.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams across strategy, project management, and content creation functions.
  • Confident working with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions, and managing complex expectations.
  • Strong understanding of integrated comms channels including Social, PR, Paid, and Web. Excellent organisational, operational, and prioritisation skills.
  • Experience within a large matrix organisation across multiple markets (desirable).
  • Knowledge of marketing technology platforms and content management workflows (desirable).
  • Background in B2B content strategy or technology/solutions marketing (desirable).
