About the role
- Build security protections into systems to ensure a secure by default posture.
- Participate in design reviews and threat modeling sessions.
- Understand and oversee HIPAA, SOC2, SOC1, PCI and HITRUST compliance.
- Regularly audit platforms for vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with vendors for penetration testing and security services.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in the security domain
- Strong knowledge of security compliance rituals including HIPAA
- Ability to read, understand, and audit systems, networks, and IT setups
- Proven track record of hands-on involvement in complex projects
- Knowledge of security frameworks
