Manager

• Support the policy team in engaging the grassroots and Network Partners in CPI efforts
• Develop high-quality toolkits and action center communications to ensure Network Partners and CPI grassroots have the tools they need to easily engage in policy efforts
• Build and manage relationships with Network Partners, CPI grassroots network members, state agencies, and patient advocacy and community partners
• Support and elevate patient, survivor, and caregiver voices through CSC storytelling efforts, ambassador programs, and public testimony
• Track and analyze policy developments across all 50 states that are prioritized by our Network Partners, including Medicaid Work Requirements
• Respond to requests and questions from advocates, Network Partners, and interest holders
• Engage regularly with CSC Network Partners to organize, instruct, and help manage network activities such as Advocacy in August, NP Advisory Committee, and CSC Hill Day
• Help draft CPI funding proposals

Grassroots Engagement Manager, Policy and Advocacy

• Conduct customized support plan meetings and orientations with new participants
• Facilitate in-person and virtual support groups within the framework of the Cancer Support Community model
• Conduct brief individual, couples, and/or family counseling sessions utilizing a brief therapy model
• Provide onsite, offsite, and virtual support services and administrative duties in coordination with Program and Clinical teams utilizing CSC group model
• Travel to offsite partnership sites for delivery of direct services
• Participate in Child, Teen and Family events to support our Spanish-speaking participants
• Link patients to various resources (e.g., financial and transportation assistance) and support virtual and onsite educational programming
• Assist individuals with applying for various collaborative resources

Program Manager

• Welcome new participants and guide them through our programs and services.
• Coordinate and support in-person programs across our New Castle, Middletown, and Kent County locations.
• Facilitate support groups and help develop new programs.
• Assist with communications, event planning, and data/reporting tasks.
• Help manage applications for our Cancer Care Assistance Fund.
• Provide administrative support, from greeting visitors to tracking program outcomes.
