Director

• Develop and implement CSC’s overall strategy related to regulatory and legislative priorities
• Serve as a public face of CSC and Cancer Policy Institute at coalition meetings, with policymakers and funders
• Lead coordination and development of activities around CPI meetings and convenings
• Manage and oversee specific state-based strategies
• Effectively disseminate methodology and results of CSC projects and services
• Identify, track, and monitor emerging public policy issues
• Conduct strategic policy analysis, research issues and draft reports
• Coach and mentor staff in the development of capabilities within the department

Director – Policy and Advocacy

• Lead the planning, implementation, and oversight of complex programs and initiatives
• Ensure programs integrate evidence-based approaches that address emotional, social, and practical needs
• Collaborate with internal teams, Network Partners, and stakeholders to implement and expand programs
• Oversee the integration and training of Community Health Workers
• Strengthen program delivery through oversight of reporting, contracts, and budget tracking
• Provide leadership and supervision to staff, consultants, and partners

Director, Program and Health Equity

Manager

• Support the policy team in engaging the grassroots and Network Partners in CPI efforts
• Develop high-quality toolkits and action center communications to ensure Network Partners and CPI grassroots have the tools they need to easily engage in policy efforts
• Build and manage relationships with Network Partners, CPI grassroots network members, state agencies, and patient advocacy and community partners
• Support and elevate patient, survivor, and caregiver voices through CSC storytelling efforts, ambassador programs, and public testimony
• Track and analyze policy developments across all 50 states that are prioritized by our Network Partners, including Medicaid Work Requirements
• Respond to requests and questions from advocates, Network Partners, and interest holders
• Engage regularly with CSC Network Partners to organize, instruct, and help manage network activities such as Advocacy in August, NP Advisory Committee, and CSC Hill Day
• Help draft CPI funding proposals
