• Manage our Marketing and Sales team (3 staff) and outside resources
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in target markets, and develop relationships with them to secure new business
• Create and maintain a customer database
• Reporting on group sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting
• Achieve sales targets, at expected profit margins, by converting leads into sales
• Work with Marketing and Sales resources to organize collateral including data sheets, brochures, and marketing merchandise
• Conducting client demonstrations and presentations of our products and services, both remote and in person
• Organizing, writing, and reviewing Proposals, Quotes and Submittals
• Working with other Group Managers on client retention and key account initiatives

• Learn and utilize: CRBasic programming (Campbell Scientific devices) – Training provided
• MLBasic – Proprietary language for MLBase/MLRemote hardware
• Integrate instrumentation with MLSuite software: Research instrument capabilities
• Define technical requirements
• Document integration methodologies
• Perform thorough testing of hardware and software
• Provide ongoing technical support

Hardware Support Engineer

• Develop project proposals, specifications, and designs
• Manage project installations and client relationships
• Manage subcontractors and Canary Systems staff
• Prepare project documentation and reports
• Assist with client technical support
• Coordinate internal and external project resources
• Prepare project/case histories for marketing and sales
• Present project/case histories at conferences and client meetings

• Integrate and process various geotechnical data sources
• Develop statistical methods for filtering and trending of data
• Develop methods for correlating and understanding disparate data sources
