About the role
- Provide strategic sales support to advisors to help them meet their sales targets and assist the sales team in achieving overall growth objectives.
- Provide a high level of defined administrative services and support within Canada Life Advice.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support with a client-first focus.
- Contribute as part of a high-performing operational team committed to our advisors' success.
- Provide professional and knowledgeable sales and service support to help advisors win new business and retain and grow existing client relationships.
- Provide administrative services and support to clients, colleagues, and head-office business partners.
- Support and sponsor local and head-office initiatives by following specific administrative processes.
- Ensure compliance standards are maintained and adhered to by advisors.
- Take on special projects as needed.
- Provide general support and coverage for fellow Advisor Support Associates.
Requirements
- Bilingualism (proficiency in French and English) required, as the role will regularly serve both francophone and anglophone clients.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Respond promptly to inquiries; professional telephone techniques; tact, courtesy, and patience.
- Adapt to change and meet project deadlines and/or requests.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach and take initiative toward process improvements and personal development.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively amid continuous interruptions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
