About the role
- Leading and orchestrating overall analysis, scoping, estimating and planning for large or complex initiatives
- Ensures solutions and configurations meet business requirements
- Defining business problems/opportunities and performing benefit analysis
- Develops and validates solution design with business stakeholders
- Partners with the QA team to ensure test strategies align with the business requirements
- Performs functional testing of system enhancements
- Partners with product owners to develop technical requirements and specifications
- Provides leadership by fostering and mentoring an inspiring team environment
Requirements
- Degree in related discipline (Commerce/Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, etc.) or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior business analysis role
- Excellent understanding of business principles
- Proven leadership and internal consulting skills
- Excellent understanding of general IT project methodologies, processes and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that rely on a structured approach
- Proficient with data modelling techniques and tools, data mapping from source systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively under pressure in individual and team environment
- Experience working with legacy technologies
- Previous experience as a software developer in a mainframe environment would be an asset.
- Wealth Knowledge is an asset
- Experience with UNITRAX or Univeris is considered an asset
