About the role

  • Consult with customers and build advanced IT solutions in HPC/AI and enterprise
  • Design, build, recommend, and sell the latest technologies in the market
  • Determine customer needs and recommend the best platforms to solve challenges
  • Prescribe solutions averaging +$1M annually to various sectors
  • Design highly optimized solutions for HPC, AI, and ML across disciplines
  • Consult on enterprise information technology solutions including data storage, data protection, and server/container virtualization
  • Represent the company in face-to-face and online meetings, technical demonstrations, and conferences
  • Validate customer deliverables including quotes, proposals, and statements of work
  • Build long-lasting relationships with vendors, clients, and IT distributors

Requirements

  • 10+ years of customer facing technical experience recommending high value workload solutions
  • Research & development in life science compute
  • Data-center centric IT infrastructure solutions (data storage, data protection, compute, security)
  • Experience with high-performance computing clusters, high-throughput network solutions (Infiniband, OmniPath, 400GbE)
  • Knowledge of schedulers (UGE, SGE, SLRUM, PGS, LSF)
  • Familiarity with cluster management tools (Bright Computing, Werewolf, xCAT)
  • Experience with parallel file systems (Lustre, IBM, Spectrum Scale, mGPFS)
  • Knowledge of enterprise data storage technologies, including SAN and NAS storage
  • Expertise in Windows Server and UNIX/Linux system administration
  • Developing accounts, writing technical proposals, giving presentations, teaching employees/customers.
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to work remotely, independently, and unsupervised.
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis required.
