About the role

  • Conduct professional learning services for schools and districts across the country using LETRS professional learning
  • Deliver sessions Monday-Friday during business hours at least 2-3 days a month
  • Facilitate sessions both online and in-person
  • Provide effective presentation skills in in-person and virtual settings
  • Utilize technology-based productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Google and other web applications
  • Participate in live online LETRS sessions and training

Requirements

  • Spanish proficiency
  • Expertise supporting Multilingual Learners
  • Deep background knowledge of Science of Reading
  • Knowledge of structured literacy
  • Experience with Dual Immersion or ESL/ELL/ELD certification/experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct teaching experience with multilingual learners
  • Bachelor's degree in elementary education, curriculum/instruction, speech/language pathology, education administration, school psychology, or comparable (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 8 years teaching experience
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience (administrative, central office/agency, teacher leader, instructional coach etc.)
  • Experience delivering training to audiences of up to 50
  • Experience coaching/consulting teachers in applying best practices
  • Experience navigating remote meeting platforms
  • Experience in client/partnership management
  • Certified or endorsed in Dual Immersion (preferred), ESL/ELL (or equivalent); or demonstrated equivalent experience in lieu of formal certification
  • Demonstrated Spanish language proficiency (oral and written)
