About the role

  • You take end-to-end responsibility — from requirements analysis to production deployment.
  • Integrate and connect new data sources into the central Oracle Data Warehouse
  • Develop and implement efficient ETL processes
  • Design and implement data models for staging, integration, and mart layers
  • Analyze, model, and prepare technical and financial data
  • Populate the mart layer for data delivery and integration into Power BI — with a focus on performance and high availability (Always-On)
  • Conduct performance analyses and targeted optimizations
  • Ensure data quality: plausibility checks, validations, monitoring
  • Maintain and further develop data lineage and metadata management
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and dashboards for business and management stakeholders
  • Work closely with IT, engineering, and business units to translate technical requirements into scalable data solutions
  • Provide thorough documentation of data flows, processes, and system architecture

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 7 years of experience developing Oracle-based data warehouse solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
  • Solid expertise in SQL tuning, performance optimization, and Oracle architecture
  • Deep understanding of data warehouse design, dimensional modeling, and ETL concepts
  • Experience in data modeling: ER models, star schema, snowflake schema
  • Experience with ETL tools, data lineage tools, and metadata management solutions
  • Excellent German skills (C1/C2, business fluent)
  • Good English skills
