About the role
- Lead the creation and execution of field strategies that drive revenue growth, customer success, and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with regional Sales VPs and cross-functional stakeholders to align GTM plans with market opportunity and operational goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to field teams—driving territory design, sales coverage models, and performance frameworks.
- Create an environment where employees are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.
- Manage ambiguity, build strong relationships, and empower others.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-impact field strategy team driving industry enablement, expertise, and thought leadership.
- Set clear objectives and performance standards, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Implement tools, processes, and insights that enhance field productivity and GTM effectiveness across ALL cloud solutions and overall Calix platform.
- Develop and lead the Calix Communities program to enhance cross-functional learning and enablement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, operations, or leadership roles in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- 5+ years of experience managing and scaling strategic or enablement teams with proven leadership success.
- Deep understanding of field sales motions, GTM models, and strategic planning.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder influence skills.
- Proven ability to drive change, navigate ambiguity, and build scalable processes.
- Highly analytical, with a passion for using data to drive insights and decision-making.
