💰 $50,000 - $150,000 per year

About the role

  • Meet with homeowners who have expressed interest in our custom products and services
  • Provide design advice
  • Take measurements
  • Help guide the client from their first consultation through California Closets' professional installation
  • Transform closets, garages, pantries, wine bars, guest rooms with Murphy Beds, laundry rooms and more
  • Deliver a superb, interactive in-home customer experience

Requirements

  • Commitment to learning and implementing California Closets' Facilitative Sales process
  • 2+ years of outside sales experience (in-home sales consultations a plus)
  • A good driving record
  • Ability to pass a full background check
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Background in interior design, direct industry experience, or a proven passion for home décor
  • Ability to create inspiring and delightful customer experiences
  • Advanced knowledge of basic computer software programs and/or previous experience with CAD software
  • Ability to be creative while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Team player capable of managing a portfolio of projects and clients in a dynamic environment
  • Proactively pursue referrals and repeat business
  • Superb references from previous employers
  • Experience measuring closet systems, cabinetry, or similar products
