About the role

  • Advise project managers, HR business partners, and employees on deployment planning, cost estimation, and compliance obligations for short-term business travel.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and processes for managing business traveler populations.
  • Liaise with Corporate Tax and Legal teams to assess permanent establishment risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor travel patterns, stay lengths, and tax/social security thresholds to proactively identify and address compliance risks.
  • Oversee all phases of immigration processes for business travelers.
  • Manage tax filing processes, tax reconciliation, and social security compliance for business travelers in collaboration with external providers.
  • Prepare regular business traveler compliance reports and analytics for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in global mobility, tax, immigration, or related compliance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of international tax, immigration, and social security regulations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (Workday)and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual in English and French is strongly preferred.
