About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of integrated IT architectures
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers supporting internal cyber operations
- Collaborate with government clients to identify requirements and develop project plans
- Provide hands-on technical support in areas of expertise
- Oversee vendor and subcontractor relationships
- Ensure project delivery within budget and schedule constraints
- Prepare and present technical status reports to stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with security and contractual policies
- Assist the Program’s Financial Manager in collecting Team leave plans and communicating with the Government regarding forecasting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in IT engineering, project management, and team leadership (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Experience creating technical roadmaps
- Expertise in VMware environments, Active Directory, and network protocols
- Proficiency in system software installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Experience with patch management, shared storage environments, and backup solutions
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and maintenance skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Proven ability to lead and motivate technical teams
- Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week with occasional travel between McLean and Bethesda
