Provide systems engineering expertise to analyze system concepts, system design and interoperability, and provide input to and analysis of system architectures
Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (System Functional Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) and assist in defining appropriate Entrance and Exit criteria
Assist the Government with creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation (program plans, acquisition documentation, specifications, manuals, field bulletins, technical guides, memos)
Evaluate, define, analyze, and recommend strategies and potential systems to meet force protection threats and integrate emerging technology
Analyze program technical products (Drawings, Reports, Specifications)
Coordinate program office activities relating to systems engineering with external stakeholders
Provide technical advice on integration of emerging capabilities into PM FPS systems
Receive and review draft requirements documents (e.g., IDS, CDD, CPD), assess feasibility of user requirements, review and refine failure definition and scoring criteria for reliability, and provide feedback
Support the review and analysis of engineering change proposals and value engineering change proposals
Requirements
Configuration Management and Engineering Change Proposal support experience for current PM FPS Programs of Record (PoRs) and Quick Reaction Capability (QRC)
Engineering support experience for the current PM FPS PoRs and QRCs
Active Secret clearance
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Engineering or a related discipline required
5+ years of applicable systems engineering experience, preferably in a DoD acquisition program office or similar organization
Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% (Type of Travel: Continental US)
