Explore topics such as: Automation and code scanning; DevSecOps technologies and workflows; Leveraging AI for cybersecurity solution engineering; Creating infrastructure to support task automation; Understanding adversarial tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs); Configuring virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks; CI/CD and version control using GitLab
Configure virtual machines (VMs) and virtual networks and support task automation infrastructure
Participate in CI/CD and version control workflows using GitLab
Work in a hybrid schedule with expectation to be in person at least 3 days a week
Internship begins in May and lasts 12 weeks
Collaborate with team members and learn to respectfully work with others in a professional environment
Requirements
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering or related field.
Maintain at least a 3.0 GPA in major coursework. Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis depending on skills and passion
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
Minimum program commitment of 12 weeks
Development experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Java, C/C++/C#
Proficiency with some or all of: Windows, Linux, Python, Docker, Git, Proxmox, an AI library (Tensorflow, LlamaIndex, Pytorch etc.), CUDA, Sveltekit, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Vector Stores (Chroma), Networking, Shell Scripting
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment
Desired: Knowledge of what virtualization is and how it can be leveraged for building training labs
Desired: A computer enthusiast who pursues technical knowledge outside of the workday
Desired: Basic understanding of the hardware components of servers and desktop computers
Desired: Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Git/GitHub/GitLab, OpenVPN, VMware/VirtualBox or other hypervisor, Python, Flask, APIs
Desired: Has participated in at least one Capture the Flag (CTF) or Hack-a-thon events
Desired: Familiar with Scrum or Agile project management methodologies
