Coordinate all facets of on-site execution in support of the operations and maintenance of the Base Area Network (BAN)
Plan, direct, and supervise the daily operations of a team responsible for network availability, security, and performance
Ensure compliance with DoD regulations
Manage critical incident response
Provide leadership for technical staff maintaining network infrastructure
Oversee the operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of routers, switches, wireless access points, and cryptographic equipment
Ensure all network operations adhere to DoD cybersecurity policies
Act as the primary escalation point for critical network outages
Maintain accurate network topologies, SOPs, and asset inventories

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of related work experience
Direct experience managing Air Force Base Area Networks
DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); CCNP or CCDP or equivalent
Must hold active Secret security clearance
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
