About the role

  • Assisting Senior and Lead Project Managers in planning, managing, reporting, and monitoring projects from concept through implementation and closing.
  • Tracking costs, performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Preparing and implementing communication plan for meetings and written reports or meeting minutes to keep stakeholders and project resources informed.
  • Gathering data and assisting with preparing various reports covering project estimates, project status and other management reports.
  • Directing small projects or sections of larger projects involving cross-functional teams, multiple internal and external constituents.
  • This includes managing and executing the day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects, completing project documentation, tracking deliverables and gaining consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Assisting with establishing project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.
  • Meeting with internal customers of assigned projects to provide status updates, reporting, and gather project-related feedback.
  • Performing other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of project management concepts and methodologies
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills
  • Highly detailed-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of the team
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • 2-5 years of professional experience with project management, process improvement and training responsibilities
