About the role
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring availability, performance, and security of all systems, platforms, and end-user technology.
- Serve as the primary project manager for IT system enhancements, implementations, and upgrades across C.A. Fortune, from planning through execution and post-launch support.
- Lead and manage the C.A. Fortune IT team, including workload prioritization, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
- Own IT expense management and procurement, ensuring cost-effective use of technology resources and alignment with business priorities.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and service providers, including contract review, renewals, and performance oversight.
- Partner with business stakeholders to evaluate technology needs, recommend solutions, and ensure successful adoption of tools and platforms.
- Ensure appropriate IT policies, standards, documentation, and best practices are maintained and followed.
- Communicate with leadership and end users on system status, initiatives, risks, and improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business and technology needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience leading IT operations and technology initiatives in a modern, Microsoft-centric environment.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering system implementations and enhancements.
- Experience managing and developing an IT team, including setting priorities, providing technical guidance, and supporting career growth.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, and related collaboration and identity platforms.
- Working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, endpoint management, security controls, and cloud-based services.
- Experience managing IT budgets, expenses, licensing, and vendor relationships.
- Ability to balance hands-on problem solving with strategic planning and stakeholder communication.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business context.
