About the role

  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct assessments and subsequent deliverables in areas of digital fundraising, digital marketing and annual giving.
  • Manage client partner accounts and their assigned team members, including subject matter experts and project coordinators.
  • Provide high-level strategic counsel to clients and bring in subject matter experts as necessary.
  • Use tools such as the Partnership Status Report and BWF dashboards to lead client partnerships through data and strategy.
  • Serve as account manager leading full-service teams delivering strategy, creative, and production for omnichannel campaigns.
  • Participate in service development and assist in business development initiatives including sales presentations, marketing activities, and discovery calls.
  • Initiate and lead contract renewal discussions and meet utilization goals related to billable client work.
  • Contribute to development and maintenance of methodology for managed service annual giving and digital marketing deliverables and ensure team adoption.
  • Support firm-generated thought leadership by creating written content and engaging in speaking opportunities.
  • Participate in ongoing internal activities, trainings, firm-wide client review meetings, and other skill-building activities.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience related to annual giving and digital marketing in a healthcare, academic medical center setting, and/or non-profit organization.
  • Strong foundation in client services/customer success, annual and mid-level giving programs, and digital marketing across the nonprofit sector.
  • Project management experience and ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment, and accountability for various processes and projects.
  • Excellent writing skills and strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative, and solid strategic thinking ability for report writing.
  • Solid time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to create a strong, positive initial impression and maintain professional credibility.
  • Commitment to an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Willingness to travel overnight to client sites, conferences or firm meetings up to 25% of the time.
