About the role

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabrication solutions, including piping systems, pressure vessels, skids, and structural components.
  • Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end – from lead generation and technical clarification to quoting, negotiation, and closing – to achieve revenue growth targets.
  • Own and actively manage the assigned territory, including regular on-site visits to chemical plants, refineries, power generation facilities, and other industrial sites.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including operations managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and procurement professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, estimating, and production teams to prepare accurate technical proposals and deliver tailored, competitive solutions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and pipeline development.
  • Support turnaround projects, emergency repairs, and maintenance events by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and site requirements while representing the company professionally at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–5 years of outside technical sales experience in industrial, process, or manufacturing environments (e.g., chemical, refinery, power, or EPC)
  • Experience selling fabricated solutions, piping systems, or related industrial products strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop new business, manage a territory, and close revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and material requirements (training provided as needed).
  • Experience supporting project-based sales, turnarounds, or maintenance-driven work is a plus.
  • CRM proficiency for tracking visits, quoting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to meet safety and onboarding requirements for industrial facilities (TWIC, refinery orientations, OSHA, DISA, etc.).
