About the role
- Overseeing all accounting operations, including invoicing, payroll, financial analysis and reporting.
- Supervising, coaching and growing the internal finance team.
- Identifying opportunities for automation and system improvements.
- Communicating financial insights and ideas to influence business strategy.
- Preparing and overseeing monthly and yearly financial closes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of team management experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or something similar.
- 10+ years of progressive, relevant experience, with at least 8 of those years being at a Controller level.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including advanced formulas.
- Strong working knowledge of key software such as G-Suite, Quickbooks Online, Bill.com, Expensify, and Ramp.
