About the role

  • Assisting homeowners, contractors, or others applying for a permit
  • Providing information and guidance regarding procedures for building permits
  • Reviewing permit applications for required information
  • Distributing applications for necessary reviews
  • Monitoring progress of permit review

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or possession of a GED
  • Three (3) years of general clerical experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years in strong customer service
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction, building, or permitting preferred
  • Experience working with permitting type software is a plus
