About the role
- Provide general support for sample analysis, including complex microbiology sample preparation
- Perform analyses and carry out complex sample preparation
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality of work
- Ensure quality control criteria are met for all reported data
- Understand and interpret analyses
- Contribute to corrective action procedures
- Ensure deadlines are met and equipment is properly maintained
- Prepare reports to plan and organize work
- Other related duties as required.
Requirements
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Microbiology
- Laboratory experience, preferably in microbiology (strong asset)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management, communication and organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Dynamic, energetic, motivated, and maintain a positive attitude.
