About the role
- Review structural, stability and freeboard plans for ships
- Serve as the technical point of contact for design offices and shipyards
- Conduct technical studies and provide support for vessels in service
- Contribute to the development and validation of Bureau Veritas rules
- Participate in projects to reduce environmental footprint
Requirements
- Advanced degree in naval architecture (engineering school or university)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the naval/maritime sector
- Strong knowledge of applicable standards and regulations
- Proficiency with engineering software (structural analysis, finite element analysis)
- Good written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in English
