About the role
- Manage fire and life safety across utility's infrastructure
- Lead fire protection plan review process for utility facilities
- Conduct advanced risk assessments and loss control evaluations
- Provide expert guidance for wildfire response plans
- Act as a technical subject matter expert for executive leadership
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in fire protection engineering
- Proven experience conducting fire and hazardous materials risk assessments
- Expert-level knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) is highly desirable
