About the role

  • Marketing and sales development and revenue growth for Marine & Offshore activities in Central Africa
  • Prepare and implement the Marine & Offshore strategy for the country with the support of the Regional Commercial Manager
  • Proactively visit clients and prospects in the geography to promote Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore services
  • Promote Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore services during commercial events (conferences, seminars, etc.)
  • Translate client needs into a sales strategy and plan; manage relationships and engage with key stakeholders and clients
  • Collaborate with Marine & Offshore regional Business Developers to obtain support for the Central Africa district
  • Ensure Regional Growth Initiatives are promoted and implemented in the CAF district with the expected profitability levels
  • Ensure Bureau Veritas is registered as a vendor with all clients and targeted prospects
  • Coordinate all sourcing and procurement activities related to tenders to enable on-time, competitive bid submissions
  • Prepare proposals and manage contract negotiations and finalization
  • Collect client satisfaction feedback
  • Comply with and implement Bureau Veritas corporate standards and the BV 3 Absolutes (Safety, Ethics, Financial Control).

Requirements

  • Graduate degree, preferably in engineering
  • Industry experience (5–10 years)
  • Experience in sales and marketing or business development (5–10 years)
  • Fluent in English
