About the role

  • Design, implementation and operation of private cloud infrastructures with a high level of protection
  • Securing the deployed technology stack through security measures and system hardening
  • Monitoring of managed services to ensure agreed system availability and proactive fault remediation and prevention
  • Developing and implementing best-practice guidelines within your area of responsibility
  • Provisioning and adapting environments for testing and integrating new or updated products and technologies
  • Automating all tasks using orchestration and configuration tools
  • Ensuring stable, uninterrupted system operation

Requirements

  • Completed IT vocational training (e.g., IT specialist) or a degree in computer science, or equivalent professional experience
  • Professional experience with secure virtualized infrastructures and common virtualization solutions, as well as strong knowledge of cloud technologies, Kubernetes and OpenStack
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating Linux systems
  • Proven use of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience in regulated environments and relevant certifications (e.g., ISO 27001, BSI C5 or similar) desirable
  • Team player with an openness to new technologies and projects and enthusiasm for using open source tools
