About the role
- Translate a brand's vision into compelling, real-world experiences and event assets.
- Design event collateral across multiple formats: signage, maps, wayfinding, logo walls, wearables, and branded activations.
- Create both print-ready assets (with precision in file prep, naming conventions, font outlining, and formatting) and digital assets (LED displays, motion graphics, and digital signage).
- Apply UX principles to physical spaces, ensuring attendees have an intuitive and consistent journey through the event.
- Adapt the Bitcoin Conference brand to international audiences, including multi-language layouts and localized creative.
- Collaborate with marketing, production, and sponsor teams to ensure flawless execution and file handoff.
- Work under tight timelines and iterative approval processes while balancing multiple high-priority deliverables.
- Provide on-site design and production support during flagship events and travel as needed.
- Maintain core working hours that overlap with the Central Time Zone to ensure smooth collaboration and timely delivery of assets.
Requirements
- 2 - 4+ years in design roles with strong event, experiential, or brand design experience.
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and stay highly organized.
- Strong eye for detail, typography, and consistency in line with brand style guides.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
- Experience with motion design and preparing files for digital signage (After Effects, media encoders) is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with print production best practices (bleeds, color profiles, outlines, file prep).
- Portfolio required: please include examples of event design work—such as signage, wayfinding, environmental graphics, or live activation collateral.
- Ability to maintain core working hours that overlap with the Central Time Zone.
- Some domestic and international travel required for on-site design and production support.
- Bonus: prior experience in live event design, international design formats, or bitcoin/tech conferences.
