About the role
- As a Software Engineering Graduate, you’ll be part of a high performing engineering community that designs, builds, and enhances the technology that sits at the heart of BT Group’s Consumer products.
- You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to: Develop and maintain core platform capabilities
- Contribute to the design and build of new features and services
- Solve complex technical problems with real customer impact
- Learn modern engineering practices, tools, and technologies
- Support continuous improvement across both business and IT services.
Requirements
- Degree: 2:2 or above in a technology related degree, such as Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networking, Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Data focused subjects.

- You don’t need to know everything on day one, but having some of the following skills or exposure will help you thrive:
- Programming knowledge such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or web development frameworks
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or cloud native concepts
- Familiarity with AI or machine learning concepts, tools, or projects (university, personal or work based)
- Experience with API’s, databases, or microservices
- An interest in large-scale systems, performance, and reliability.
