About the role
- Provide direct customer service support for Tribal Commercial Lines clients
- Issue appropriate documentation as needed including certificates of insurance, auto insurance ID cards, etc.
- Compose or assist in composition of highly technical or sensitive correspondence
- Complete applications, negotiate with underwriters and prepare proposals for new and renewal business proposals/offerings
- Contact clients and/or underwriters to obtain additional information or answer questions
- Resolve policy and coverage related concerns for clients, insurance carriers, and producers
- Place coverage with acceptable carriers adhering to appropriate carriers binding authority
- Stay current on company insurance products and offerings
- Keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, including product line offerings, changing insurance consumer trends & needs
- Set up and maintain electronic file information in the Agency Management System including data entry and client & policy database maintenance
- Ability to communicate negative actions to the client, while offering a solution to remedy the situation
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of communication pertaining to client’s insurance program
- Review accounts handled for adequate coverage
- Educate, cross sell, and upsell coverages, recommending changes to insured for enhanced protection, ensuring Office Minimum Standards are being met
- Process change requests and other coverage research issues
- Process ICRs in compliance with Brown & Brown protocol
- Check policy coverage and endorsements for accuracy
- Assume full responsibility for service and administration of client accounts
- Assist with Worker’s Compensation Analytical Reports as requested by Tribal Division Manager
- Transact Agency Billed Policy in timely fashion adhering to Brown & Brown protocol
- Review Aged Receivables, follows up on collection of premium payments and assist the accounting department in reconciliation of company and client accounts
- Manage & maintain individual Washington Producer’s License by attending appropriate CE classes
Requirements
- Three or more years of agency Lines experience managing the service of multi-line Commercial P&C license
- Working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience with Agency Management Software Systems (Preferred)
