About the role

  • In assigned sales region, the Regional Sales Consultant networks with benefit brokers and employers to identify employer group prospects interested in worksite LTC solutions for their employees.
  • Cold calling, lead research, and networking to find potential clients.
  • Presenting LTC products and services to potential clients.
  • Suggesting suitable LTC solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Educating prospects about LTC insurance.
  • Engaging with clients via email, phone, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
  • Establishing positive relationships with clients.
  • Creating own proposals, preparing quotes, sales presentations, and updating CRM tools.
  • Shadows seasoned consultants to learn best practices and strategies.
  • Obtaining a producer license within 3 months after hire and maintaining state insurance licensing and continuing education for LTC products.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, time management, and adaptability.
  • Experience in networking, developing leads, and researching potential clients.
  • Ability to obtain a producer’s license within 3 months after hire and continuing education for LTC products.
  • Prior sales experience in a related employee benefits field.
  • Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages.
