About the role
- Lead Employee Benefits account management and provide strategic guidance to clients.
- Day-to-day client interaction, oversight of service functions, and administration of marketing and renewal activities.
- Independently advising clients and preparing complex financial exhibits.
- Leading client meetings and developing customized reporting.
- Mentoring team members to ensure alignment with overall strategy and objectives.
- Monitor monthly financials for clients including entry of data into client exhibits.
- Prepare and send monthly financial reports to clients with analysis of activity and large claim detail.
- Prepare basic financial/underwriting exhibits as requested including financial projections, large claim analysis, demographics analysis, etc.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 5+ years employee benefits experience with a thorough understanding and knowledge of employee benefits.
- 1+ years financial experience.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Microsoft Excel – Strong to expert level skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Must obtain and maintain active Life/Accident and Health Insurance Agent License.
