💰 $37 - $50 per hour

About the role

  • Perform complex customer support activities involving the installation, modification, repair and preventive maintenance of Brooks’ equipment and systems.
  • Isolate and resolve complex equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective action.
  • May act as Local / Shift / Site Lead to coordinate work direction for other Service Engineers.
  • Interface with customers to ensure satisfaction with equipment and service levels.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment conforming to work protocols and policies.
  • Train Brooks and customer personnel in equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs and projects for both customers and Brooks.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in a technical discipline, technical Certificate or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing electro-mechanical / electronics technical support / repair service.
  • Experience with lasers and sensing devices for positioning circuitry on robotic units.
  • Experience troubleshooting microelectronics schematics and digital circuits.
  • Proficiency with PCs, Windows, and DOS based Operating Systems.
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, reliable mode of transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, scaffoldings.
  • Ability to work in awkward positions and in confined spaces.
  • Ability to travel, domestically and internationally as needed.
