About the role
- Develop and execute a global continuing education strategy aligned with CFA Institute’s mission and Membership priorities
- Define the continuing education value proposition across career stages, regions, and member segments
- Apply member, employer, and market insights to ensure learning remains relevant, differentiated, and forward-looking
- Partner with Technology and cross-functional teams to deliver a modern CE platform, including tracking, verification, and compliance
- Serve as the Membership lead on skills-based learning, working with Education to modularise and reuse learning assets
- Partner with Product, AI, Education, and Research teams to deliver an AI-enabled learning ecosystem for members
- Lead strategy for live and virtual learning events, professional communities, and external CE partnerships
- Establish quality, credibility, and verification standards, and track success metrics for member engagement and impact
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in professional, executive, or continuing education within a professional or industry-facing context
- Credible understanding of the investment industry, including how professionals build and maintain skills, relevance, and trust across their careers
- Proven experience designing, scaling, or transforming modern learning ecosystems that are digital, modular, and skills-based
- Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on delivery, particularly in early phases of transformation
- Comfortable operating as an individual contributor initially, with openness to taking on people leadership as the function grows
- AI literacy and curiosity, with the ability to partner effectively on AI-enabled learning initiatives
- Strong stakeholder influence skills within complex, global, matrixed organisations
- Demonstrated success building external partnerships with academia, learning providers, professional bodies, regulators, or employers
- CFA Charterholder preferred as a credibility proxy, but equivalent professional standing is also welcomed.
